Life in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is the largest city in Nevada, United States, and a major tourist, shopping, vacation and gambling destination. Las Vegas is the Gambling Capital of the World. What more can be said about the real city that never sleeps, that treats millions of visitors a year, and can cook a good steak at a good price? Only in Vegas, baby! The city has about 480,000 people and the metropolitan area of about 1.5 million people is growing about as steady as the ever-changing skyline. Las Vegas is located in the southern corner of Nevada and is centered between a winter ski mountain resort and a large lake used mostly for boating, jet skiing and camping. The vast open deserts surrounding the Las Vegas area bring high thrills to any off road lover. Too many casinos to name, too many places to see, too much fun. Las Vegas is a treat for all. Nowhere else can you find a city that has all the amenities that only a complete resort destination can offer: luxurious hotels, fine dining, wonderful live entertainment and state-of-the art convention facilities.
